Summary: Ginny is sent on a journey by her aunt Peg. Peg left her family to live a wandering artist's life. After Peg's death Ginny receives a letter from her aunt that sends her first to New York City then off to London. She receives thirteen letters from her aunt that she must open in order and follow her aunt's instructions. She must only carry a backpack, no guidebooks, no money and not use electronics or telephones. With these rules Ginny sets off to foreign lands, opening letters from her aunt in specified locations such as Greece, London, Italy, and Scotland. In Ginny's journeys she learns about her aunt's life, makes friends and discovers things about her self that she didn't know about. Her journey ends in London with the discovery of her aunt's much desired paintings.
